We sewed the bear drawstring backpacks from upcycled fabric like old bed linens and jeans. You don’t have to use old fabric…but these are great projects for it. The sewing pattern is rated easy…fun for a confident beginner. If you’re a newbie, then search your home for fabrics you aren’t using any more like old bed sheets, button down shirts or denim jeans.
